What would it take to make you (me) a brand ambassador for Coca-Cola?

What would it take for me to put a Coca-Cola logo on my blog? I'm not a huge fan, but their new campaign is a great example of social media marketing.

Facebook + Marketing = Now talking business.

I don't know what happened behind the scenes at Facebook a few months ago but someone must have gone on a marketing course! The introduction of feed friendly 'Pages', greater control for brands and a much better recommendations system have all helped move Facebook firmly out of the hype, 'nice-to-have', marketing camp. Another recent, under the radar, feature introduction is going to have smart marketers rubbing their hands in glee...

10 web apps for starting up (& running) a business

Social Meets Business Ltd. "Open for Business"

I'll start by introducing myself... I'm Mark Williamson and I am the founder and director of Social Meets Business Ltd.

It's been an interesting few weeks! From full time employment to full time mayhem in 11 days.

Anyway, I'm proud to say that SMB is now up and running and in full flow with just the big stack of HMRC booklets on my left to deal with.

With all the uncertainties around starting a new business, there is one thing I am sure of; the world of business and marketing has changed for good. The tools we have available to us now are more effective, more human and above all better value than anything we have seen before.

My next post is going to look into this new world of web and how it helped us to setup this business with the kind of ease, pace and costs (or lack of) that have encouraged a new raft of entrepreneurs. SMB aims to bring this same thinking to our clients.

We're looking forward to bringing some new ideas into some great business and if you have any questions or just want to discuss your situation, give us a shout.

Regards,

Mark
